Goodnight Macaroon has been a social media darling as of late, with many of your favorite bloggers dressed in head to toe GM. So today, I’m tackling a Goodnight Macaroon review for my next episode of “In Real Life,” where I’m showing you exactly what some of these online shops look like… you guessed it… in real life!
Let’s dive into what we can find out about the company. On their website, Goodnight Macaroon brands themselves as “an online women’s boutique feature [ing] on-trend, lively & feminine clothing.”
It appears to be based in Hong Kong and was started in 2011 by a woman who was struggling to find a trendy alternative to her favorite $1000 blazer (while nibbling on a macaroon apparently).
At total face value, they have some really cute stuff that is also very affordable, but how would their quality stack up against the price? Check out my video to find out!
In Real Life: Goodnight Macaroon Review
I bought eight items from the boutique including four dresses, one top, one jumpsuit, one bag and a pair of shoes that still hasn’t shown up? They claim to be still coming, but mind you I bought these in mid-March. I also bought them during a 40% off flash sale, so if the prices in the video don’t match up with their current pricing, that’s why.
What I bought:
Cute, but SUPER short. Best worn as a tunic.
This jumpsuit comes in six colors. Comfy, but the inseam is really long; not great for short people.
