Weekend Reads | 5-14

Welcome to another weekend reads everyone!  How are you doing?  I feel like cabin fever has set in a bit over the last two weeks for me.  But that is not to say that I plan on going anywhere soon.

Things are starting to slowly open up here in Oregon.  Smaller counties around the state are entering the first phase of re-opening, which means restaurants, bars, retail stores, and salons can begin having people.  However, Multnomah county where Portland is hasn’t submitted plans to lift the stay at home orders quite yet.

While I feel restless being cooped up in a small apartment, I don’t think I’ll feel a need to go to a restaurant or bar when things do open up.  I’ll be in the camp of people that proceeds a little more cautiously when it comes to interacting with others.

That means I’ll be taking part in more things like this: a drive-thru booze pick-up at Freeland Spirits in Portland.  They are offering a ton of different cocktail kits WITH alcohol that you can pre-order online, drive by and pick up.  We tried the Love Below.

Check out our adventure here.

This tropical print shirt dress ($27) is adorable.

In need of a new true crime podcast like me?  Here’s a list of some new ones that just came out including one about Woody Harrelson’s father who was allegedly a hitman!

Just finished this book and I FLEW through it!

Little Richard was a … uhhh interesting character.  Did NOT know any of these wild stories about him.

This taste test tells you the best way to cook salmon.  We’re big fans of this herb butter salmon recipe.

I’m feeling like a classic movie night soon.  A list to work through and where to stream them.

31 Gucci items that are under $250.

I’ve been really good about working out, but I’m starting to hit a wall in terms of creativity; I plan to add in some of these ab exercises next week.

Can’t wait for this show to come on Netflix.

Had to share this Alo Yoga sale in weekend reads.  These colored leggings are gorgeous.  And this $31 sports bra is too cute.
