Is there anything more fun for summer than pom poms and tassels?! I have been seeing pom poms on EVERYTHING lately, from throw pillows and blankets to high-end heels. But one of my favorite ways I’ve seen them used is on Soludos’ summer espadrilles. So this week, I’m sharing how to make your own DIY pom pom tassel espadrilles for a fraction of the price.
This bright orange pair was my primary inspiration for this DIY, but I also love these and these.
And it doesn’t get much easier than this DIY. All you need is a pair of shoes, a handful of pom poms and tassels and a hot glue gun.
I used three pom poms and three tassels on each shoe. And because I was feeling a little lazy, I just bought them on Etsy from Woman Shops World, but you could easily make them both as well. Michaels also has a ton of both right now.

assorted tassels // pom poms // plain espadrilles // hot glue gun
Make it!
Pre-arrange pattern you want.
Start with the tassel you want to be in the middle. Hot glue the loop of the tassel to the espadrille, about 1/3 of the way up from the tip of the shoe. Repeat with the other two tassels on either side
Finally, hot glue the pom poms on top of the loop of the tassels. Ta daaa! Happy Summer!
