Growing up in California, there was always the threat of wildfires. But it’s hard to remember anything ever getting as bad as it has this week in Oregon. Wildfires have burned up 900,000 acres as of Friday morning. An average for Oregon is usually around 500,000 a year.
That being sad, I wanted the focus of this week’s round-up to be a list of Oregon wildfire resources to help donate or volunteer, as well as some handy tips and graphics if you’re in an area that’s under the threat of evacuation.

All the restaurants, bars and coffee shops that have closed permanently in Portland due to Covid. There were so many that I exclaimed “wait that place closed?!” Very sad to see.
