Happy Friday everybody! I can’t step foot in a CVS, Walgreens, etc. without also picking up a new makeup or skincare product. They just call out to me and beg to be tried. So I’ve tried a lot of drugstore products in my day, and I figured it might be fun to crowdsource from you all some of YOUR favorites and share the best drugstore makeup products among us.
So here are my top two items:
-Soap and Glory “Poutstanding” Double-Ended Lip Contouring Crayon in Front Page Nudes and Rhubarbarella, $6, Ulta.com.
–No7 High Shine Lip Gloss in Just Peachy, Grapefruit Shimmer and Pink Latte
And let me just say these are my favorite lip products period (yup, even more than everybody’s favorite Charlotte Tilbury lip pencil)…and they both happen to be from the drugstore. I would say 75% of the time I’m wearing one of the lip contouring crayons with the gloss over it.
Wearing “Front Page Nudes” and “Just Peachy” gloss in this photo:
The first thing I love about both of these products are the actual colors themselves. I’ve tried them out on friends as well, and the shades are really universally lovely on as orangey-nude and pinky-nude selections.
The lip crayons are also incredibly convenient. One side has a matte product, and the other has shine. I like to use the matte as an actual lip liner and fill in with the shine side, so this is perfect if you don’t like carrying around a bunch of makeup products.
If you follow along on Instagram, you’ve probably seen me asking for your best drugstore makeup finds this week. Many thanks to all of you who shared and here’s the list!
