Happy Monday friends. Since many of my PNW followers are still battling the snow after a winter storm this weekend, I thought it’d be fun to (mentally) take a trip to the beach! This is also the time of year where folks plan their spring break vacations coming up in the next few months, and that’s why I’m sharing some vacation style favorites under $100.
We just got back from a trip to Tulum, Mexico, which is about an hour and half south of Cancun. I’m ready to become a professional vacationer! (LOL) It was such a wonderful trip that I plan on sharing more about in the next couple of weeks.
I highly recommend if you’re looking for a spot that is close to the U.S., but doesn’t feel like your typical resort vacation. It had a lot of wonderful places to explore and eat, and I feel like we could go back time after time and have totally different experiences.
Most of these vacation style pieces are tried and tested; I brought most of them with me to Tulum.
Animal print is big this season, and while everyone’s doing leopard, why not try a zebra print dress like the one I’m wearing above?! I love to pair it with straw or other neutral accessories.
I got so many compliments on this Target bikini (under $20 a piece!), and it’s REALLY flattering.
There’s no better straw hat than this one from Nordstrom. I’ve brought it on every vacation in the last year and a half. See Maldives below.
If you’re looking to pack light, a black jumpsuit makes a great vacation style staple. You can wear it in an infinite amount of ways. For night, I paired this one from ASOS with a colorful headband.
You could give it a totally different look with bright jewelry. This one is a really light jersey fabric, so it could easily double as a cover-up.
