Happy Friday everyone and welcome to another edition of Weekend Reads.
This weekend will be full of trying to get some things done for the house. We’re planning on being in there before Thanksgiving, which is exciting.
So, I’ve been running around trying to choose paint for a few places in the house that I’m planning on painting myself: the room we built out in the basement and potentially, our bathroom.
The entire process of choosing paint has been completely overwhelming; who knew there were so many shades of cream, white and grey?! And yet, somehow, none of them ever look 100% right.

I’m on a mission to find tasty Halloween-themed cocktails. This looks tasty.
Are you watching the Bachelorette? Did you notice one of the guy’s careers is a boy band manager?!
Also in honor of the new season, I finally got around to listening to the audiobook of Bachelor Nation, and I highly recommend if you’re a fan of the series.
Did you know that HBO Max has the Bachelor and Bachelorette seasons from UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand?! I’ve already been diving into the UK version, and it’s pretty funny how different it is.
This week, I shared five podcasts to listen to right now. Particularly helpful if you’re heading out on the road for Thanksgiving this year.
And did you know that Amanda Knox (yes the same Amanda Knox who was on trial for murdering her roommate) has true crime podcast?!
I’m so excited about this little Etsy shop.
Cool ideas on Halloween decor using plastic pumpkins.
Who else loves Halloween movies?! I made this little handy Halloween Movie Bingo for the store last week:
Halloween snack ideas from Martha Stewart for your next movie night.
I’m very meh on Emily in Paris on Netflix, but I do LOVE her old school camera phone case. About to order one of these.
Also, you might need a beret…or two.
Jake and I have this really weird late night snack that consists of gluten free pretzels, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Trust me, it’s delicious. And I just found these Swirled Chocolate Butterscotch Bars that look to die for.
Chic fall fashion ideas to copy.
This was a HOT topic this week, so I had to post again in Weekend Reads. I shared on IG stories about how we aren’t sure kids are for us, after several bloggers (Jennifer Lake and Grace Atwood) posted about their own decisions to be childfree.
