Happy Friday friends and welcome to another weekend reads! It’s been a crazy couple of weeks, but now I’m back in Portland for the next month or so and back to my regular blogging schedule.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve celebrated my and my husband’s birthday, our first wedding anniversary, and all of the Fourth of July festivities, so it’s been a lot!
We just got back from a fantastic weekend at this resort in Union, Washington called Alderbrook Resort. It is STUNNING, and actually reasonably priced when you book ahead.
It’s only a two and a half hour drive from Portland and about an hour and a half from Seattle. It’s set right on the water on Hood Canal, part of Puget Sound.
And for it being fairly rustic and remote, there’s a lot to do on the property. They have a great spa, tons of water sports, boat rides, yoga, hikes, pools, etc. Or if you’re like us, you can just lay out in the sun and read. I’m planning on doing a longer post in the next few weeks, but I wanted to share a few photos!
