Welcome back everyone to the first Weekend Reads in nearly a month! I decided to do a Saturday edition this week since my birthday was yesterday. And I’m excited to share a little more about what I’ve been up to with opening my store and some of Confête’s best sellers.
June and early July have been a little crazy around here. In case you don’t follow me on Instagram, our new e-commerce platform, Confête, is now up and open for business.
All About Confête…
Confête has been a true labor of love; we started building this nearly two years ago, so it was incredibly rewarding to finally see it come to fruition and be able to share with all of you what we’ve been working on.
So here’s a primer on what Confête is all about: it’s a women’s e-commerce site that focuses on apparel and accessories for all the special moments in their lives. That means baby showers, marquee birthdays, special vacations as well as all the events around a wedding.
Weddings are really at the heart of our business. I began to create the concept for Confête after struggling to find a unique and affordable dress for my rehearsal dinner when we got married almost two years ago. So one of our biggest goals at Confête is to provide beautiful and special dresses for all the different events around a wedding.
But obviously white, sequin and special dresses aren’t just for wedding events, so we hope that they can give anyone looking for something pretty, fun and special a little ray of sunshine with our products.
We’re only 10 days into being in business, but it’s been really cool to see what people are buying. So I wanted to share what items people are loving.
