Coronavirus Quarantine Activities List | 3-17

So it felt pretty silly and shallow to write about spring dresses and travel when the world is battling a pandemic.  I also don’t want to be one of those armchair experts, pontificating about their opinions about the Coronavirus, when the only people we should be listening to are medical professionals.  That being said, today’s weekend reads is more about sharing ideas from our community in regards to the virus.  I’ve even made a handy Coronavirus Quarantine activities list.

Workplaces are closing up shop to have employees work remotely…the sporting world has effectively shut down (this is a big impact on our life as my husband works for an MLS team)…and everyone is just a little on edge right now.

So since it looks like we’ll all be hanging from home over the next little bit, I’m dedicating this post to shows, books, recipes and other interesting things to help you occupy your time while you’re chilling at home, as well as some interesting virus-related reads.

Also it’s important to note that recommendations are changing hourly when it comes to COVID-19, so always be sure to check reputable news outlets for the latest details.

Weekend Reads | 3-17

This is a really helpful read on how to shop for groceries safely as well as what food delivery services are doing to keep your food safe.

USA Today did this great round-up answering the most popular questions about the virus including how long does the virus last on a dollar bill and can my pet get it.

Not that you should travel… but if you have to, here are some of the facts about air quality directly from the airlines.

If you attempt to make your own hand sanitizer, try this recipe shared by the NY Times.

Eerie photo gallery of popular places now totally empty due to Coronavirus.

Are your packages safe?  According to this Washington Post article, they are.

Now for the Coronavirus quarantine activities list… again…*disclaimer: there is no medical advice provided in this post and as such, I’m not recommending anyone do these things if you’re sick with Coronavirus.  But for those of us who are on lockdown while healthy, here’s some of the things I plan on doing:

What to Do During a Coronavirus Quarantine, coronavirus bingo, activities to do during coronavirus, ideas for families during lockdown, coronavirus preparedness list
