Fall Home Finds and Weekend Sales

So, I really tried to wait until October to start decorating for fall; I made it to September 29th.  And today, I am excited to share all about my favorite fall home finds.

Decorating a home can usually be quite pricy, so I try to make just a few simple swaps to make our home feel a little cozier this time of year without breaking the bank.Fall Home Finds 4

We still live in an apartment.  That means there’s not a ton of changes we can make to our space.  I usually like to swap out our pillows and blankets with the seasons as an easy way of updating our decor…Winston approves!Fall Home Finds 2

I can usually find a TON of amazing seasonal additions at Target and Homegoods.  And wedding planning opened my eyes to all that is Etsy, so I found a ton of really cute pieces on there, and I love that I’m supporting small, independent businesses.

This year, I decided to go for a black and white theme with punches of green and orange throughout after snagging a set of these buffalo plaid pillows on Amazon for under $12!  I love that these can easily work through the Christmas season as well.Fall Home Finds 1

I also found this buffalo plaid rug on Amazon that I styled under our welcome mat with a few pumpkins.Welcome Mat

One of my favorite ways to add to your home on a budget is to use items you can find at a any grocery store.  Fill a lantern, bowl or whatever vessel you have at home with things like mini pumpkins, gourds, greens, oranges, etc.Fall Home Finds 3Fall Home Finds 6Fall Home Finds 5

Happy decorating!

Speaking of fall, did you have a chance to check out my piece on my favorite and least favorite Trader Joe’s fall products?!  Read this to see what we have been making on REPEAT.
