Happy Friday! One of the best things we’ve done this week is take an online wine tasting class through Sunday School Wine.
I’ve written about them before when we could take a class in person, but I wanted to try one of the virtual classes they’ve been offering. And we had a great time!
Our class was about wines in Southern Italy, which I didn’t know much about, but I love Italian red wine. It was an hour and a half class for $30 that took you through all sorts of history, fun facts and interactions with other “classmates” on what we smelled and tasted from the different wines.
They’re local to Portland, but anyone with the internet could take their class. What’s really unique about the class for Oregon folks is that you can order a bottle or a full pack of the wines they’re referencing from them. They will then deliver them right to your home, and the wines are sourced from different local wine shops.
Their next two classes are “The Badass Ladies of Champagne” on July 26 and “Middle Italy” on August 9. Tickets available here.
