One of the things I love about shopping is it’s like a treasure hunt. You can recreate just about any expensive look for the fraction of the price, but it does take effort to find the perfect pieces. So I wanted to start sharing some of my favorite dupes for all those statement pieces we all lust after: shoes, dresses, handbags, etc. (and it’s much needed this week with all that NYFW FOMO!). This week, I’m kicking things off with my favorite Chloé handbag dupes.
Chloé is one of my favorite brands. They’re classic yet edgy, feminine without being frilly. But at $850+ for one of their small bags, it’s a VERY special occasion get. That’s why I had to wait 30 long years to get one! However, there are so many great lookalikes out there for every budget.
Also, I realize high fashion dupes are a sensitive subject, but for those on a budget, shelling out thousands of dollars on designer handbags every year just isn’t going to happen. My hope is to provide you with affordable pieces that give you similar looks.
Tip of the day: Amazon, oddly enough, is a Wild, Wild, West of designer lookalikes. Thanks to Kathleen Barnes of Carrie Brashaw Lied, who was the first person I saw tag some of these amazing Amazon handbags.
