Ok friends, by now, you have seen the Cult Gaia Ark handbags in every color, material and style. It was the “It Bag” of last summer, and it seems like it’s popularity is only continuing this spring. I was really holding out on doing a post on them, but there’s just too many good Cult Gaia dupes out there not to share.
The price point on the original isn’t sky-high; the mini ark bag will only set you back $128. I also love that it comes in a variety of colors in its acrylic models.
But if you are looking for a great lookalike for a fraction of the price, I’ve got some solid dupes below.
I purchased this ModCloth version for under $50 for my trip to Sedona this weekend. It was perfect to pair with a boho dress for going out, but also casual/ big enough to bring a book and necessities to the pool.
I really love the look and feel of this bag. Strangely enough, what had held me back from purchasing a version of this bag earlier was wondering: how does something NOT fall out of there?! The slats are about 1/4″ wide, so you definitely can’t throw any loose cards or change in there, but I had no problem with my small card carrier wallet staying put.
