Hello everyone, and welcome to another weekend reads! Not too much has happened in the past week. Here in Oregon, we’ve all been locked up inside as the wildfires continue to burn. Hopefully, there will be some relief seeing as it’s raining as we speak.
A few things happening, we’re on day 10 of the Keto diet. So far, I don’t think it’s been too bad. I’ve had a couple of rough days of “the keto flu,’ where I just felt a little weak, but for the most part I feel like I do on any other detox or diet.
We’re also preparing to paint our kitchen this weekend before the floors go in! I shared the details of our master bathroom renovation project this week here, and I’ll be posting about the kitchen progress next week. What sort of renovation stories would you like to see here?

TikTok may be banned on Sunday unless it reaches a deal to sell. According to this Washington Post article, starting Sunday, new users won’t be able to download TikTok, but existing users will be able to still use it. However, security updates and patches won’t be available, so it’ll slowly degrade over time. Are you on the platform?
Speaking of social…looking for things to watch this weekend? I highly recommend The Social Dilemma doc on Netflix, which explores the dangerous side of technology and social media in general. Also really liking The Vow on HBO on the NXIVM cult.
Loved this story of the only air rescue helicopter that was able to get up and rescue people during the early hours of Hurricane Harvey. And I can’t imagine having to chose who lives or dies.
